Macadamia oil is produced through a process of cold pressing and fine
filtering the Macadamia nut, resulting in a virgin fine cosmetic grade oil
without the use of chemicals or foreign fibrous materials. Macadamia oil is a
unique vegetable oil with a molecular structure that more closely resembles
marine mammal oil rather than other vegetable oils. This is due to it
containing Palmitolic Acid, an ingredient that whales are usually slaughtered
for, and is present in the sebum (from the sebaceous glands in the skin) of
infants. The application of Macadamia Oil is believed to aid in the
replenishment of maturing skin. Highly recommended for skin cleansing
without the use of water.
